North Dakota Bakken

Preferred Controls provides full oil production pad SCADA services to numerous producers in the North Dakota Bakken. This featured project included full design and integration services for the local production pad SCADA system as well as a complete remote supervisory system using Wonderware’s system platform. A large scale, multi-repeater unlicensed radio system was designed and built to provide full monitoring and control for all of the oil production sites at numerous regional offices throughout North Dakota, as well as monitoring and control from corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX.
